PHYSICAL LOCATION

Brookfield State School is located in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane and is part of the Brisbane Central and West District of Education Queensland.

The school is situated on 5.6 hectares of land. The campus of our school is located on the southern side of a hill which flows down to a large oval bordered by Moggill Creek. Currently the school consists of a mixture of architecture from the original school building (now Year 1 classroom) and original play shed to modern double teaching classrooms, covered games areas and a new tuckshop.

We have 3 large Prep classrooms and a further 17 classrooms, library, assembly/special purpose hall, tuckshop building, uniform shop, music centre, outside school hours care facility, 2 amenities blocks, staffroom and new administration building.

The school has one large oval, two multi-purpose tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, 3 covered games areas, three adventure playgrounds and a large area of natural bush and creek. Two bitumen netball courts are being constructed and artificial grass installed on a soccer field for young children to use.

Brookfield State School is surrounded by acreage homes and bordered by Brookfield Showgrounds, Moggill Creek and steep, narrow Boscombe Road. The majority of children are driven to school while a small number walk or ride bikes.

The school community values the "rural" feel of our school.
