STAFF

Brookfield State School has a very professional and hardworking staff. There currently 20 classroom teachers, 4 specialist teachers, a support teacher, guidance officer, 2 instrumental music teachers, 4 primary teacher aides, 2 Prep teacher aides, a registrar, an administrative officer, 1 full-time groundsman, three cleaners, a deputy principal and a principal to serve the needs of the community. Additional teachers are employed on a yearly basis to provide extension opportunities for children. Science is a major area.

The staff are hardworking and professional teachers who demonstrate a high degree of teaching excellence and commitment. There is a good mix of beginning teachers and those who have been teaching for a number of years. A greater proportion of staff are female.

Our school Parents and Citizens Association is very pro-active and supportive of our school.
